Often accidents can be prevented with a quick check of your tires. Most people make themselves aware of the amount of air or obvious deterioration of their tires, but many have never “read” the panels on the side of their own tires. The DOT four digit code is usually located to the left of the tire brand name. The first two numerical digits stand for the week and the last two decode the year manufactured.
